Weekly tasks #18 from organisemyhouse.com

Grab a blanket, pack some of your favourite foods, and find a shaded area to relax for a few hours.

The location is all important, and knowing whether you want casual, quiet, activities around, countryside etc…. – will make your decision making easier.

Some great ideas for what to pack  for food are as follows (basically things that are easy to eat, and that travel well):-

  • Crusty bread with cheeses and cured meats (my personal favourite!)
  • Mini quiche / sausage rolls
  • Pasta salads
  • Strawberries
  • Dips / breadsticks / crudites
  • Sandwiches / Wraps
  • Brownies / Cookies

You could also pack a bat and ball to play some games, or a magazine/newspaper if you plan to relax a bit more. Even an ipod with some music would be fantastic!

Let your mind go wild and make it a real occasion – you will love the change of scene and feel great afterwards!

How are you going?

I would love to hear how you are finding these daily tasks – Let me know what your favourites are, and what you like the least…
